       The Committee on Transportation (Brandes) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 47 - 50
    4  and insert:
    5         (4) Any person or entity that registers a vehicle
    6  identified in subsection (2) or subsection (3) may renew the
    7  vehicle registration biennially in accordance with s.
    8  320.07(2)(b).
    9         (5) The proceeds of the additional flat fees imposed under
   10  subsections (2) and (3) must be deposited into the State
   11  Transportation Trust Fund.
   12         (6) A low-speed, electric, or plug-in hybrid electric
   13

   15  And the title is amended as follows:
   16         Delete lines 5 - 9
   17  and insert:
   18         in hybrid electric vehicles; authorizing persons and
   19         entities to biennially renew vehicle registrations for
   20         electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric
   21         vehicles; providing for the distribution of proceeds
   22         from the additional fees;
