    2         An act relating to microbusinesses; amending s.
    3         288.001, F.S.; defining the term “microbusiness” for
    4         the purposes of the Florida Small Business Development
    5         Center Network; providing an effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Paragraph (c) of subsection (2) of section
   10  288.001, Florida Statutes, is redesignated as paragraph (d), and
   11  a new paragraph (c) is added to that subsection, to read:
   12         288.001 The Florida Small Business Development Center
   13  Network.—
   14         (2) DEFINITIONS.—As used in this section, the term:
   15         (c) “Microbusiness” means a business with nine or fewer
   16  employees.
   17         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2021.
