    2         An act relating to transportation facility
    3         designations honoring fallen law enforcement officers;
    4         providing honorary designations of certain
    5         transportation facilities in specified counties;
    6         directing the Department of Transportation to erect
    7         suitable markers; providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Transportation facility designations; Department
   12  of Transportation to erect suitable markers.—
   13         (1) That portion of C.R. 611/E. Lake Road between Forelock
   14  Road and Keystone Road in Pinellas County is designated as
   15  “Deputy Michael J. Magli Memorial Road.”
   16         (2) That portion of S.R. 60 between Interstate 75 and
   17  Phillip Lee Boulevard in Hillsborough County is designated as
   18  “Sergeant Brian LaVigne Road.”
   19         (3) That portion of Interstate 275 between E. Sligh Avenue
   20  and E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Boulevard in Hillsborough
   21  County is designated as “Officer Jesse Madsen Memorial Highway.”
   22         (4) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   23  suitable markers designating the transportation facilities as
   24  described in this section.
   25         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2021.
