       Senator Brodeur moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Substitute for Amendment (755326) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete lines 50 - 52
    5  and insert:
    6  cottage food products by a cottage food operation; however, a
    7  cottage food operation must comply with the conditions for the
    8  operation of a home-based business under s. 559.955 or from a
    9  person’s residence.
   10         Section 4. This act shall take effect on the same date that
   11  HB 403 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation
   12  is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension
   13  thereof and becomes a law.

   16  And the title is amended as follows:
   17         Delete lines 11 - 13
   18  and insert:
   19         prohibiting local governments from prohibiting cottage
   20         food operations or regulating cottage food products by
   21         cottage food operations; requiring cottage food
   22         operations to comply with certain conditions for the
   23         operation of home-based businesses; providing a
   24         contingent effective date.
