Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services
(Brodeur) recommended the following:
1 Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

3 Between lines 160 and 161
4 insert:
5 (6) EXEMPTIONS.—A health care professional who is not
6 licensed to provide health care services in this state but who
7 holds an active license to provide health care services in
8 another state or jurisdiction, and who provides health care
9 services using telehealth to a patient located in this state, is
10 not subject to the registration requirement under this section
11 if the services are provided:
12 (a) In response to an emergency medical condition as
13 defined in s. 395.002; or
14 (b) In consultation with a health care professional
15 licensed in this state who has ultimate authority over the
16 diagnosis and care of the patient.

21 and insert:
22 Section 2. Paragraph (a) of subsection (1), paragraph (c)
