    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to a review under the Open Government
    3         Sunset Review Act; amending s. 499.931, F.S., which
    4         relates to an exemption from public records
    5         requirements for trade secrets contained in certain
    6         information submitted to the Department of Business
    7         and Professional Regulation as required by specified
    8         provisions relating to medical gas; removing the
    9         scheduled repeal of the exemption; providing an
   10         effective date.

   12  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   13  
   14         Section 1. Section 499.931, Florida Statutes, is amended to
   15  read:
   16         499.931 Trade secret information.—Information required to
   17  be submitted under this part which is a trade secret as defined
   18  in s. 812.081 and designated as a trade secret by an applicant
   19  or permitholder must be maintained as required under s. 499.051.
   20  This section is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act
   21  in accordance with s. 119.15 and shall stand repealed on October
   22  2, 2021, unless reviewed and saved from repeal through
   23  reenactment by the Legislature.
   24         Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2021.
