       The Committee on Rules (Farmer) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (395520) 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 83 - 87
    4  and insert:
    5  must present affidavit testimony from a medical expert as
    6  defined in s. 766.202 which attests to the expert’s belief,
    7  within a reasonable degree of medical probability, that the
    8  person whose injury or death gave rise to the action was
    9  infected with COVID-19 at the time that the cause of action
   10  accrued and that the plaintiff’s infection by COVID-19 resulted
   11  in the injury, damages, or death.
