    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to enterprise zone boundaries;
    3         providing an exception to general law; providing that
    4         certain enterprise zone boundaries are preserved for a
    5         specified purpose through a certain date; providing an
    6         exception; providing an effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. Notwithstanding s. 290.016, Florida Statutes,
   11  and s. 56, chapter 2017-36, Laws of Florida, enterprise zone
   12  boundaries in existence before December 31, 2015, are preserved
   13  for the purpose of allowing local governments to administer
   14  local incentive programs within these boundaries through
   15  December 31, 2025, except for eligible contiguous multi-phase
   16  projects in which at least one certificate of use or occupancy
   17  has been issued before December 31, 2025, and which project will
   18  then vest the remaining project phases until completion, but no
   19  later than December 31, 2030.
   20         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2021.
