    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to the Multi-use Corridors of Regional
    3         Economic Significance Program; amending s. 338.2278,
    4         F.S.; revising the allocation of certain funds, for
    5         specified fiscal years, that result from increased
    6         revenues to the State Transportation Trust Fund;
    7         providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Paragraphs (c) and (d) of subsection (8) of
   12  section 338.2278, Florida Statutes, are amended to read:
   13         338.2278 Multi-use Corridors of Regional Economic
   14  Significance Program.—
   15         (8) The amounts identified in subsection (7) by fiscal year
   16  shall be allocated as follows:
   17         (c) For the 2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024 fiscal
   18  years fiscal year, to the:
   19         1. Small County Road Assistance Program, $10 million, to be
   20  used as specified in s. 339.2816, with preference to projects in
   21  counties impacted by hurricanes;
   22         2. Small County Outreach Program, $10 million, to be used
   23  as specified in s. 339.2818, with preference to projects in
   24  counties impacted by hurricanes;
   25         3. Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund, $10 million, to
   26  be used as specified in s. 427.0159;
   27         4. Workforce development program, $2.5 million, to be used
   28  as specified in s. 334.044(35); and
   29         5. The remaining funds under this paragraph shall be used
   30  for the Multi-use Corridors of Regional Economic Significance
   31  Program, as specified in this section.
   32         (d) For the 2024-2025 2022-2023 fiscal year and each fiscal
   33  year thereafter, to the:
   34         1. Small County Road Assistance Program, $10 million, to be
   35  used as specified in s. 339.2816, with preference to projects in
   36  counties impacted by hurricanes;
   37         2. Small County Outreach Program, $10 million, to be used
   38  as specified in s. 339.2818, with preference to projects in
   39  counties impacted by hurricanes;
   40         3. Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund, $10 million, to
   41  be used as specified in s. 427.0159; and
   42         4. The remaining funds under this paragraph shall be used
   43  for the Multi-use Corridors of Regional Economic Significance
   44  Program, as specified in this section.
   45         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2021.
