Section 448.077, Florida Statutes, is created to 6 read: 7 448.077 Retaliation due to quarantine related to COVID-19 8 prohibited.—An employer may not terminate, demote, or retaliate 9 against an employee who has tested positive for COVID-19 as 10 evidenced by a valid laboratory test or who in good faith 11 believes he or she was, or may have been, exposed to COVID-19 12 and takes a leave of absence from the workplace for up to 14 13 days to quarantine.
