       Senator Perry moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 63 - 69
    4  and insert:
    5  Development Council to perform a study examining the economic,
    6  technical, and operational viability of the establishment of a
    7  port in Putnam County. The council shall evaluate the grant
    8  application pursuant to subsections (5)–(8) and, if approved,
    9  the Department of Transportation must include the feasibility
   10  study in its budget request pursuant to subsection (9). The
   11  council shall review the study upon completion to determine if a
   12  port in Putnam County is viable. If the council does not approve
   13  the study, the membership of Putnam County on the
   14

   16  And the title is amended as follows:
   17         Delete line 13
   18  and insert:
   19         circumstances; requiring the council to review the
   20         study and make a determination; terminating the
   21         membership of Putnam
