       Senator Brandes moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Substitute for Amendment (626594) (with title
    2  amendment)

    4         Before line 28
    5  insert:
    6         Section 1. Section 125.412, Florida Statutes, is created to
    7  read:
    8         125.412 Release of conservation restrictions on land owned
    9  by charter counties.—The board of county commissioners of a
   10  charter county may release a conservation designation or
   11  conservation easement on county-owned property without a
   12  referendum, notwithstanding the county charter, if the property
   13  will be used for any K-12 educational or athletic purpose by an
   14  educational institution that serves students in kindergarten
   15  through 12th grade and the property is contiguous to the
   16  educational institution.
