       Senator Brandes moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Before line 28
    4  insert:
    5         Section 1. Section 125.412, Florida Statutes, is created to
    6  read:
    7         125.412 Release of conservation easements by charter
    8  counties.—The board of county commissioners of a charter county
    9  may release a conservation easement as described in s. 704.06 on
   10  county-owned property without a referendum if such property will
   11  be used for any K-12 educational or athletic purpose by an
   12  educational institution that serves students in kindergarten
   13  through 12th grade and the property is contiguous to the
   14  educational institution.
