Paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of section 6 1003.46, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 7 1003.46 Health education; instruction in acquired immune 8 deficiency syndrome.— 9 (2) Throughout instruction in acquired immune deficiency 10 syndrome, sexually transmitted diseases, or health education, 11 when such instruction and course material contains instruction 12 in human sexuality, a school shall: 13 (a) Teach abstinence from sexual activity outside of 14 marriage as the expected standard for all school-age students 15 while teaching the benefits of monogamousheterosexualmarriage. 16 17 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 18 And the title is amended as follows: 19 Delete line 2 20 and insert: 21 An act relating to education; amending s. 1003.46, 22 F.S.; revising the requirements for certain health 23 education instruction;
