    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to school nutrition program
    3         requirements; amending s. 595.405, F.S.; requiring
    4         district school boards to provide the parent or
    5         guardian of a student who is eligible for free or
    6         reduced-priced meals with information on the Florida
    7         Kidcare program; providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Subsection (9) is added to section 595.405,
   12  Florida Statutes, to read:
   13         595.405 School nutrition program requirements.—
   14         (9) Each district school board shall provide the parent or
   15  guardian of a student who is eligible for free or reduced-priced
   16  meals with information on the Florida Kidcare program.
   17         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022.
