       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Taddeo) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 33 and 34
    4  insert:
    5         (3)(a) It is unlawful for a paramilitary group to
    6  congregate in a public place. As used in this subsection, the
    7  term “paramilitary group” means a semi-militarized force whose
    8  organizational structure, tactics, training, subculture, or
    9  function is similar to that of a professional military, but
   10  which is not part of the Armed Forces of the United States.
   11         (b) A person who violates paragraph (a) commits a
   12  misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s.
   13  775.082 or s. 775.083.
