Senator Farmer moved the following:

4 insert:
5 (5)(a) The Office of Economic and Demographic Research, in
6 consultation with the Office of Program Policy Analysis and
7 Government Accountability, shall conduct a study on the fiscal
8 impact of subsections (2) and (3) on affected businesses. The
9 study must:
10 1. At a minimum, include the fiscal impact on common
11 carriers, tourism agencies and entities, and agriculture in this
12 state and on its overall state economy;
13 2. Specify the percentage of the businesses’ profits or
14 revenues, if any, which are affected by subsections (2) and (3)
15 and explicitly identify where losses of up to 15 percent of
16 profits or revenues occur; and
17 3. Be completed by January 1, 2023.
18 (b) By January 1, 2023, the Office of Economic and
19 Demographic Research shall submit a report to the Governor, the
20 President of the Senate, the Minority Leader of the Senate, the
21 Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the Minority Leader
22 of the House of Representatives, as well as make the report
23 publicly available.

29 to develop a specified form; requiring the Office of
30 Economic and Demographic Research, in consultation
31 with the Office of Program Policy Analysis and
32 Government Accountability, to conduct a fiscal impact
33 study; providing requirements for the study; requiring
34 the submittal of a report to the Governor and
35 Legislature by a specified date; providing an
36 effective
