       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Brandes) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 17 - 19
    4  and insert:
    5  a specific disease, with the intent to defraud, commits:
    6         (1) For a first offense, a noncriminal violation,
    7  punishable by a fine of $1,000.
    8         (2) For a second offense, a misdemeanor of the first
    9  degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
   10         (3) For a third or subsequent offense, a felony of the
   11  third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083,
   12  or s. 775.084.
