Section 401.269, Florida Statutes, is created to 6 read: 7 401.269 Telehealth visits with medical directors.—If a 8 paramedic or an emergency medical technician responds to an 9 emergency call and finds that the person in need of assistance 10 is not experiencing an emergency but would benefit from 11 immediate medical attention, the paramedic or emergency medical 12 technician may facilitate a telehealth visit with his or her 13 medical director and assist the medical director in providing 14 any onsite care within the paramedic’s or emergency medical 15 technician’s scope of training, as applicable.
