       The Committee on Finance and Tax (Hutson) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 41 - 42
    4  and insert:
    5  exempt from the tax imposed by this chapter. As used in this
    6  paragraph, the term “aircraft” means a manned vehicle capable of
    7  flight which is designed to transport persons or property.
    8  “common carrier” means an airline operating under
    9

   11  And the title is amended as follows:
   12         Delete line 5
   13  and insert:
   14         certain aircraft, from the sales and use tax; defining
   15         the term “aircraft”; deleting
