       The Committee on Rules (Brandes) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (569968)(with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 161 and 162
    5  insert:
    6         (4)THIRD-PARTY SELLER INFORMATION.—An online marketplace
    7  must permanently delete or dispose of any third-party seller
    8  information collected by the online marketplace under this
    9  section within 24 months after receipt of the information.
   10  Except as required by this section, the information may not be
   11  shared, sold, or disseminated in any other way to any person or
   12  entity. However, the information may be disseminated to a law
   13  enforcement agency with a valid subpoena.

   17         Between lines 185 and 186
   18  insert:
   19         requiring online marketplaces to permanently delete or
   20         dispose of third-party seller information collected by
   21         the online marketplace within a specified timeframe;
   22         prohibiting online marketplaces from taking specified
   23         actions relating to such information; providing an
   24         exception;
