       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Pizzo) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 484 - 495
    4  and insert:
    5         (2) A person authorized under this section to carry a
    6  concealed weapon or concealed firearm is limited to carrying one
    7  concealed firearm on or about his or her person at a time.
    8         (3)(1) Except as provided in subsection (6) (3), a person
    9  who does not meet the criteria in subsection (1) is not licensed
   10  under s. 790.06 and who carries a concealed weapon or electric
   11  weapon or device, as those terms are defined in s. 790.001, on
   12  or about his or her person commits a misdemeanor of the first
   13  degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
   14         (4)(2) Except as provided in subsection (6) (3), a person
   15  who does not meet the criteria in subsection (1) is not licensed
   16  under s. 790.06 and who carries a concealed firearm, as that
   17  term is defined in s. 790.001, on or about his or her person
   18  commits a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in
   19  s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.
   20         (5) Except as provided in subsection (6), a person who
   21  carries a concealed firearm, as that term is defined in s.
   22  790.001, on or about his or her person in violation of
   23  subsection (2) commits a felony of the third degree, punishable
   24  as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.
