       Senator Book moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Before line 26
    4  insert:
    5         Section 1. Section 553.862, Florida Statutes, is created to
    6  read:
    7         553.862 Baby-changing table requirements.—
    8         (1) As used in this section, the term:
    9         (a) “Baby-changing table” means a table or other device
   10  that is installed in a separate, designated location for the
   11  purpose of changing an infant’s or child’s diaper or clothing.
   12         (b) “Building” means any of the following:
   13         1. A theater.
   14         2. A sports arena or stadium.
   15         3. A convention center, auditorium, or exhibition hall.
   16         4. A public library.
   17         5. A passenger terminal.
   18         6. An amusement park in a permanent location.
   19         7. A restaurant with a seating capacity of at least 50
   20  persons, except when there is a baby-changing table within 300
   21  feet of the restaurant’s entrance.
   22         8. A shopping center or shopping mall larger than 25,000
   23  square feet.
   24         9. A retail store larger than 5,000 square feet.
   25         (c) “Restroom” has the same meaning as in s. 553.865.
   26         (d) “Unisex restroom” has the same meaning as in s.
   27  553.865.
   28         (2) Pursuant to s. 553.73(1), the commission shall adopt by
   29  rule a requirement that a baby-changing table be available in
   30  every men’s restroom in any building that does not have a unisex
   31  restroom available.

   36  insert:
   37         creating s. 553.862, F.S.; defining terms; requiring
   38         the Florida Building Commission to adopt a rule
