       The Appropriations Committee on Criminal and Civil Justice
       (Polsky) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 36 - 47
    4  and insert:
    5  judge, a justice, a judicial assistant, a clerk of the circuit
    6  court, clerk of the circuit court personnel, or an elected
    7  official, or a family member of any such person persons, with
    8  death or serious bodily harm commits a misdemeanor of the first
    9  degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
   10         (b)(3) A person who commits a second or subsequent
   11  violation of paragraph (a) subsection (2) commits a felony of
   12  the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s.
   13  775.083, or s. 775.084.
   14         (3) Any person who knowingly and willfully harasses a law
   15  enforcement officer, a state attorney, an assistant state
   16  attorney, a firefighter, a judge, a justice, a judicial
   17  assistant, a clerk of the circuit court, clerk of the circuit
   18  court personnel, or an elected official, with the intent to
   19  intimidate

   22  And the title is amended as follows:
   23         Delete lines 6 - 7
   24  and insert:
   25         prohibiting specified threats against a justice, a
   26         judicial assistant, a clerk of the circuit court,
   27         clerk of the circuit court personnel, or a family
   28         member of such person;
