       The Committee on Judiciary (Thompson) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (209768) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 647 and 648
    5  insert:
    6         (5) An insurance provider shall not offer or sell an
    7  insurance policy to an owner or principal operator of a
    8  multifamily residential property which contains exclusions for
    9  either of the following:
   10         (a) Assault and battery; or
   11         (b) Firearms.
   12  
   13  In the event such a policy is sold, the exclusion only is void
   14  as a matter of law.

   17  And the title is amended as follows:
   18         Delete line 950
   19  and insert:
   20         owners or principal operators; prohibiting an
   21         insurance provider from offering or selling an
   22         insurance policy to an owner or principal operator of

   24         specified exclusions; providing construction;
