       Senator Pizzo moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 123 - 129
    4  and insert:
    5         (1)Except as authorized in subsection (2), a public
    6  employee in a bargaining unit may not have any payroll
    7  deductions collected by an employer from his or her salary
    8  unless the payroll deduction is court ordered or the payroll
    9  deduction is for health insurance premiums that have been
   10  negotiated by the employer and provided to employees as part of
   11  a compensation package. Payroll deductions prohibited under this
   12  subsection include, but are not limited to, dues and uniform
   13  assessments, supplemental insurance premiums, charitable
   14  contributions, and contributions to financial investment firms.

   20         F.S.; prohibiting public employees in bargaining units
   21         from having payroll deductions collected by employers;
