       The Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs
       (Trumbull) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 16 - 19
    4  and insert:
    5         (3) Notwithstanding subsection (2), a local licensing
    6  agency or the department, whichever is authorized to license
    7  child care facilities in a county, must issue a provisional
    8  license or registration for a family day care home when the
    9  applicant provides evidence that he or she has completed, within
   10  the previous 6 months, training
