House Comm: RCS . 04/24/2023 . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Committee on Rules (Avila) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment 2 3 Delete lines 219 - 229 4 and insert: 5 dealer in this state within the 2-year period preceding such 6 remote electronic transmission, and the ownership of the vehicle 7 has not changed, the applicant or licensee must pay such motor 8 vehicle dealer a minimum of 8 percent of the payment received by 9 the applicant, licensee, or common entity from the sale of the 10 feature or improvement. As used in this subsection, the term 11 “feature or improvement” includes the activation or use of motor 12 vehicle components or hardware, but does not include services 13 that require the transmission of data or information to or from 14 the motor vehicle while the service is being used.
