    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to transportation facility
    3         designations; providing an honorary designation of a
    4         certain transportation facility in specified counties;
    5         directing the Department of Transportation to erect
    6         suitable markers; providing an effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. Airman Mohammed “Mo” Sameh Haitham Memorial Way
   11  designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
   12  markers.—
   13         (1) Those portions of the Gandy Bridge on U.S. 92 located
   14  within the geographical boundaries of Hillsborough and Pinellas
   15  Counties are designated as “Airman Mohammed ‘Mo’ Sameh Haitham
   16  Memorial Way.”
   17         (2) The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
   18  suitable markers designating “Airman Mohammed ‘Mo’ Sameh Haitham
   19  Memorial Way” as described in subsection (1).
   20         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2024.
