       Senator Burton moved the following:
       
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (495536) (with title
    2  amendment)

    5         Between lines 1278 and 1279
    6  insert:
    7         Section 29. The Department of Education shall provide a
    8  bonus in the amount of $50 to compensate International
    9  Baccalaureate teachers for each student they teach who received
   10  a score of “C” or higher on an International Baccalaureate
   11  Theory of Knowledge subject examination. If the total amount of
   12  the bonuses is greater than the funds provided in this
   13  appropriation, each teacher’s amount shall be prorated based on
   14  the number of students who earned qualifying scores in each
   15  district. These bonuses shall be in addition to any regular wage
   16  or other bonus the teacher received or is scheduled to receive.
   17  The sum of $250,000 in nonrecurring funds is appropriated to
   18  fund this section.

   22         Delete line 1409
   23  and insert:
   24         by the act; requiring the department to provide a
   25         bonus to International Baccalaureate teachers under
   26         certain circumstances; providing an appropriation;
