       Senator Gruters moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (402874) (with title
    2  amendment)

    4         Before line 5
    5  insert:
    6         Section 1. Section 163.046, Florida Statutes, is created to
    7  read:
    8         163.046 Tree pruning, trimming, or removal; property used
    9  for veterans health care facilities.—
   10         (1) A local government may not require a notice, an
   11  application, an approval, a permit, a fee, or mitigation for the
   12  pruning, trimming, or removal of a tree on property being used
   13  for the construction or development of a veterans health care
   14  facility, as approved by the United States Department of
   15  Veterans Affairs.
   16         (2) A local government may not require a property owner to
   17  replant a tree that was pruned, trimmed, or removed in
   18  accordance with this section.

   28         trees on specified properties; prohibiting such local
   29         governments from requiring a property owner to replant
   30         such trees; creating s. 265.8021,
