       The Committee on Banking and Insurance (Grall) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Delete lines 18 - 21
    4  and insert:
    5         (7) “Florida financial institution” means a bank, credit
    6  union, trust company, savings bank, or savings or thrift
    7  association doing business under the authority of a charter
    8  issued by the United States, this state, or any other state
    9  which is authorized to transact business in this state and whose
   10  deposits or share accounts are insured by the Federal Deposit
   11  Insurance Corporation or the National Credit Union Share
   12  Insurance Fund.
