       Senator Calatayud moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 581 - 589
    4  and insert:
    5  normal school hours, unless:
    6         (I) Attended or actively staffed by a person when students
    7  are on campus;
    8         (II) The use is in accordance with a shared use agreement
    9  pursuant to s. 1013.101; or
   10         (III) The school safety specialist, or his or her designee,
   11  has documented in the Florida Safe Schools Assessment Tool
   12  portal maintained by the Office of Safe Schools that the gate or
   13  other access point is not subject to this requirement based upon
   14  other safety measures at the school. The office may conduct a
   15  compliance visit pursuant to s. 1001.212(14) to review if such
   16  determination is appropriate.
