       The Committee on Fiscal Policy (Hooper) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 601 and 602
    4  insert:
    5         Section 17. Subsection (19) of section 489.505, Florida
    6  Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         489.505 Definitions.—As used in this part:
    8         (19) “Specialty contractor” means a contractor whose scope
    9  of practice is limited to a specific segment of electrical or
   10  alarm system contracting established in a category adopted by
   11  board rule, including, but not limited to, residential
   12  electrical contracting, maintenance of electrical fixtures, and
   13  fabrication, erection, installation, and maintenance of
   14  electrical and nonelectrical advertising signs together with the
   15  interrelated parts and supports thereof.

   20  insert:
   21         amending s. 489.505, F.S.; revising the definition of
   22         the term “specialty contractor”;
