       Senator Brodeur moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 151
    4  and insert:
    5  to the agency, in the region in which the applicant resides,
    6  sent to a central or regional address through regular United
    7  States mail, or faxed to a central or regional confidential fax
    8  number. The agency shall acknowledge receipt of all applications
    9  it receives, regardless of the manner of submission, with an
   10  immediate receipt confirmation provided in the same manner in
   11  which the application was received, unless the applicant has
   12  designated an alternative preferred method of communication on
   13  the submitted application.

   16  And the title is amended as follows:
   17         Delete line 16
   18  and insert:
   19         for the online application process; requiring the
   20         agency to maintain access to a printable paper
   21         application on its website and, upon request, provide
   22         printed paper applications; requiring the agency to
   23         acknowledge receipt of all applications it receives,
   24         regardless of the manner of submission, by providing
   25         an immediate receipt confirmation to the applicant in
   26         a specified manner; defining the term
