       The Appropriations Committee on Transportation, Tourism, and
       Economic Development (Rodriguez) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 66 - 71
    4  and insert:
    5  the application, the department must include the designation
    6  “SAFE” in the motor vehicle record. For purposes of this
    7  subsection, the department may not include in the motor vehicle
    8  record personal identifying information of or any diagnosis of a
    9  person for whom a diagnosis is indicated. The department must
   10  allow a motor vehicle owner or co-owner to update a motor
   11  vehicle registration to include or remove the “SAFE” designation
   12  under this subsection at any

   16  And the title is amended as follows:
   17         Delete lines 10 - 16
   18  and insert:
   19         disorders; requiring a specified designation to be
   20         included in a motor vehicle record; prohibiting
   21         inclusion of specified information in a motor vehicle
   22         record for certain purposes; requiring the Department
   23         of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to allow
   24         specified persons to update a motor vehicle
   25         registration to include or remove the specified
   26         designation at any time;
