       The Committee on Regulated Industries (Hooper) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 66 and 67
    4  insert:
    5         Section 1. (1)The department is authorized, and all
    6  conditions are deemed to be met, to adopt emergency rules
    7  pursuant to s. 120.54(4), Florida Statutes, for the purpose of
    8  implementing the amendments made by this act to s. 455.2124,
    9  Florida Statutes, including establishing procedures to
   10  facilitate the exemption for eligible individuals from
   11  completing continuing education.
   12         (2)Notwithstanding any other law, emergency rules adopted
   13  pursuant to subsection (1) are effective for 6 months after
   14  adoption and may be renewed during the pendency of procedures to
   15  adopt permanent rules addressing the subject of the emergency
   16  rules.
   17         (3)This section expires January 1, 2026.

   21         Between lines 14 and 15
   22  insert:
   23         authorizing the department to adopt emergency rules;
   24         providing requirements and an expiration date for the
   25         emergency rules; providing for the expiration of such
   26         rulemaking authority;
