       The Committee on Regulated Industries (Rodriguez) recommended
       the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 39 and 40
    4  insert:
    5         (c) This subsection does not confer to the commission any
    6  regulatory jurisdiction over a commercial mobile radio service
    7  provider that was designated, before the effective date of this
    8  act, as an eligible telecommunications carrier.
    9         Section 2. The Division of Law Revision is directed to
   10  replace the phrase “the effective date of this act” wherever it
   11  occurs in this act with the date this act becomes a law.
