House Comm: RCS . 01/11/2024 . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Committee on Fiscal Policy (Burton) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment 2 3 Delete lines 1435 - 1446 4 and insert: 5 which focuses on crisis diversion and the reduction of 6 involuntary commitment under this chapter. The structure must 7 require, but need not be limited to, the following: 8 a. Triage and rapid crisis intervention within 60 minutes; 9 b. Provision of and referral to evidence-based services 10 that are responsive to the needs of the individual and the 11 individual’s family; 12 c. Screening, assessment, early identification, and care 13 coordination; and 14 d. Confirmation that the individual who received the mobile 15 crisis response was connected to a service provider and 16 prescribed medications, if needed.
