       The Committee on Transportation (Burgess) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 93 - 98
    4  and insert:
    5  need to increase public safety. An individual may not receive a
    6  commission from any revenue collected from violations detected
    7  through the use of a school bus infraction detection system. A
    8  private vendor or manufacturer may not receive a fee or
    9  remuneration based upon the number of violations detected
   10  through the use of a school bus infraction detection system.
   11  This paragraph may not be construed to prohibit a private vendor
   12  or manufacturer from receiving a fixed percentage of collected
   13  proceeds for service rendered in relation to the installation,
   14  operation, or maintenance of school bus infraction detection
   15  systems.

   19         Delete lines 7 - 10
   20  and insert:

   22         to receive a specified percentage of proceeds

   25         detection system; authorizing traffic infraction
