    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to proration of or not requiring
    3         continuing education; amending s. 455.2124, F.S.;
    4         providing that a certain exemption from continuing
    5         education requirements does not apply to
    6         veterinarians; providing an effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subsection (2) of section
   11  455.2124, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
   12         455.2124 Proration of or not requiring continuing
   13  education.—
   14         (2)
   15         (b) This subsection does not apply to engineers regulated
   16  pursuant to chapter 471; to certified public accountants
   17  regulated pursuant to chapter 473; to veterinarians regulated
   18  pursuant to chapter 474; to brokers, broker associates, and
   19  sales associates regulated pursuant to part I of chapter 475; to
   20  appraisers regulated pursuant to part II of chapter 475; to
   21  architects, interior designers, or landscape architects
   22  regulated pursuant to chapter 481; or to contractors regulated
   23  pursuant to chapter 489.
   24         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025.
