House Comm: RCS . 03/19/2025 . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Committee on Rules (Martin) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment 2 3 Delete lines 76 - 87 4 and insert: 5 order or sets a final hearing. 6 (d) The petitioner must file with the court proof, 7 including, but not limited to, a sworn affidavit with 8 screenshots, that the petitioner has attempted to serve the 9 unascertainable respondent in accordance with paragraph (c). 10 This constitutes substitute service on the unascertainable 11 respondent. 12 (e) In accordance with a written final order of injunction, 13 if using substitute service in accordance with this subsection, 14 a proposed transfer of funds or property in dispute must be held 15 for 30 days, beginning on the date of the issuance of the final 16 order of injunction, before such funds or property may be 17 distributed for the benefit of the vulnerable adult.
