       The Committee on Health Policy (Collins) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (275506) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 792 and 793
    5  insert:
    6         Section 8. Subsection (1) of section 458.315, Florida
    7  Statutes, is amended to read:
    8         458.315 Temporary certificate for practice in areas of
    9  critical need.—
   10         (1) A physician or physician assistant who is licensed to
   11  practice in any jurisdiction of the United States and whose
   12  license is currently valid may be issued a temporary certificate
   13  for practice in areas of critical need. A physician seeking such
   14  certificate must pay an application fee of $300. A physician
   15  assistant licensed to practice in any state of the United States
   16  or the District of Columbia whose license is currently valid may
   17  be issued a temporary certificate for practice in areas of
   18  critical need.
   19         Section 9. Subsection (1) of section 459.0076, Florida
   20  Statutes, is amended to read:
   21         459.0076 Temporary certificate for practice in areas of
   22  critical need.—
   23         (1) A physician or physician assistant who holds a valid
   24  license to practice in any jurisdiction of the United States may
   25  be issued a temporary certificate for practice in areas of
   26  critical need. A physician seeking such certificate must pay an
   27  application fee of $300. A physician assistant licensed to
   28  practice in any state of the United States or the District of
   29  Columbia whose license is currently valid may be issued a
   30  temporary certificate for practice in areas of critical need.
