    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to trust funds; re-creating the
    3         Resilient Florida Trust Fund within the Department of
    4         Environmental Protection; amending s. 380.0935, F.S.;
    5         deleting provisions relating to the termination of the
    6         trust fund; providing an effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. The Resilient Florida Trust Fund within the
   11  Department of Environmental Protection, which is to be
   12  terminated pursuant to s. 19(f), Article III of the State
   13  Constitution on July 1, 2025, is re-created.
   14         Section 2. Subsection (3) of section 380.0935, Florida
   15  Statutes, is amended to read:
   16         380.0935 Resilient Florida Trust Fund.—
   17         (3) In accordance with s. 19(f)(2), Art. III of the State
   18  Constitution, the Resilient Florida Trust Fund shall, unless
   19  terminated sooner, be terminated on July 1, 2025. Before its
   20  scheduled termination, the fund shall be reviewed as provided in
   21  s. 215.3206(1) and (2).
   22         Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025.
