       The Committee on Rules (Yarborough) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Before line 18
    4  insert:
    5         Section 1. Paragraph (c) is added to subsection (3) of
    6  section 435.12, Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         435.12 Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.—
    8         (3)
    9         (c) An individual who volunteers for an entity listed in
   10  paragraph (a) may be screened at the discretion of such entity.
   11  If such entity elects to conduct a background screening, the
   12  screening may be conducted pursuant to this section or s.
   13  943.0542.
