       Senator Simon moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 2679 - 2779
    4  and insert:
    5         (f)1. The Office of Program Policy and Government
    6  Accountability (OPPAGA) shall review the cost per student
    7  station levels and annual adjustments provided for in this
    8  section. The review must include:
    9         a. An evaluation of the estimate required under this
   10  paragraph.
   11         b. Recommendations for additional costs that should be
   12  factored into the cost per student station, and other costs that
   13  should be excluded.
   14         c. A recommendation for changes to the annual adjustment of
   15  the cost per student station or repeal of the requirements of
   16  this subsection.
   17         2. OPPAGA shall submit its review to the President of the
   18  Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the
   19  Commissioner of Education no later than September 1, 2026.

   22  And the directory clause is amended as follows:
   23         Delete lines 2508 - 2512
   24  and insert:
   25         Section 44. Paragraph (e) of subsection (1), paragraph (a)
   26  of subsection (2), paragraph (d) of subsection (3), paragraph
   27  (b) of subsection (5) of section 1013.64, Florida Statutes, are
   28  amended, and paragraph (f) is added to subsection (6) of that
   29  section, to read:

   34  and insert:
   35         requiring the Office of Program Policy and Government

   39         Legislature and the Commissioner of Education by a
   40         specified date; revising district school
