       The Committee on Rules (Pizzo) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 90 and 91
    4  insert:
    5         Section 2. Subsection (4) is added to section 509.101,
    6  Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         509.101 Establishment rules; posting of notice; food
    8  service inspection report; maintenance of guest register; mobile
    9  food dispensing vehicle registry.—
   10         (4) It is the duty of each operator of a public lodging
   11  establishment to contractually define whether a guest’s
   12  occupancy of a dwelling unit at a hotel, motel, vacation rental,
   13  bed and breakfast inn, or timeshare project, as those terms are
   14  defined in s. 509.242, is transient or nontransient through a
   15  written agreement signed by both the guest and the establishment
   16  operator at the point of sale. The agreement must substantially
   17  contain, above the signature line, the following language:

   19         THE PARTIES ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE UNDERSIGNED
   20  GUEST(S):
   21  
   22         ☐MAY OCCUPY THE UNIT AS A SOLE RESIDENCE IN A NONTRANSIENT
   23  OCCUPANCY, SUBJECT TO REMOVAL PROCEDURES IN CHAPTER 83, FLORIDA
   24  STATUTES, IN THE EVENT OF NONCOMPLIANCE.

   28         ☐IS/ARE OCCUPYING THE UNIT TEMPORARILY AS A TRANSIENT
   29  OCCUPANCY AND MAY BE SUBJECT TO REMOVAL AND/OR ARREST BY LAW
