       The Appropriations Committee on Transportation, Tourism, and
       Economic Development (DiCeglie) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments)

    3         Between lines 26 and 27
    4  insert:
    5         (137) ST. PETERSBURG COLLEGE LICENSE PLATE.—
    6         (a) The department shall develop a St. Petersburg College
    7  license plate as provided in this section and s. 320.08053. The
    8  plate must bear the colors and design approved by the
    9  department. The word “Florida” must appear at the top of the
   10  plate, and the words “St. Petersburg College” must appear at the
   11  bottom of the plate.
   12         (b) The annual use fees from the sale of the plate must be
   13  distributed to the St. Petersburg College Foundation, Inc., and
   14  allocated as follows:
   15         1. Ten percent may be used for administrative costs
   16  associated with managing the license plate program.
   17         2. Fifteen percent must be used for marketing and
   18  promotional efforts to maximize visibility and engagement with
   19  the license plate program.
   20         3. Twenty-five percent must be dedicated to funding student
   21  scholarships to ensure access to quality education for students
   22  in need.
   23         4. Fifty percent must be invested in initiatives that
   24  embolden student success, particularly in emerging technologies
   25  and workforce development programs, to prepare students for
   26  high-demand careers and the future economy.

   38  and insert:
