       The Committee on Regulated Industries (Rodriguez) recommended
       the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 20 - 26
    4  and insert:
    5  conduct of any pari-mutuel wagering in this state may are
    6  entitled to lease any and all of their pari-mutuel permitted
    7  facilities to any other holder of a same class valid pari-mutuel
    8  permit or to any jai alai permitholder, when located within a
    9  35-mile radius of each other; and such lessee may apply for a is
   10  entitled to a permit and license to conduct intertrack wagering
   11  and operate its race meet or jai alai games at the leased
   12  premises.

   16         Delete lines 4 - 7
   17  and insert:
   18         pari-mutuel permit may lease their pari-mutuel

   21         when located within a specified radius of each other;
   22         authorizing such lessee to apply for a license, rather
   23         than be entitled to a permit and license, to conduct
   24         specified gaming activities at the leased premises;
