       The Committee on Community Affairs (Simon) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 22 - 26
    4  and insert:
    5  specified in s. 196.031, the exemption from ad valorem tax which
    6  the quadriplegic received carries over to the benefit of the
    7  quadriplegic’s spouse until such time as he or she remarries or
    8  sells or otherwise disposes of the property. If the spouse sells
    9  or otherwise disposes of the property, an exemption not to
   10  exceed
